So here is something kinda strange…

Whenever I’m super hungry I usually end up watching food videos, reading blog posts about food, or just checking out recipes that only make me hungrier and have more cravings.

Most people I’ve talked to think it’s weird I do this, but I really don’t think it’s that uncommon.

Just me?

Probably haha.

Today, I’m doing things a little differently.

You see, as I’m writing this post I’m hungry and I’m too lazy to make food right now so instead of watching buzzfeed food videos on instagram, I’ve decided to write this blog post haha.

So here are some of my favorite, super easy snacks.

~avocado with balsamic~

I’ve shared this recipe with a lot of people- it’s just so good.

I originally found this idea in this video which is also full of great snacks.

This one just turned out to be my favorite.

It’s so easy too!

Here’s what you need to do…

  1. Cut an avocado in half and remove the pit
  2. In the ‘hole’ where the pit was, fill it about ⅓ of the way with balsamic vinegar and the rest of the way with olive oil
  3. Sprinkle salt and pepper on top to taste

I’m not going to lie, I was skeptical the first time I tried this out- but it’s so addictive.

Definitely give it a try!

~peanuts and chocolate chips~

This is exactly the way it sounds.

Peanuts and semi-sweet chocolate chips.

I mean, the title of this blog post is the easiest healthy snacks.

This is my mom’s favorite easy snack and I honestly get why.

It’s no surprise why chocolate and peanuts is a great combo.

Give it a shot if you’re feeling really lazy and craving something salty and sweet!

~yogurt oat cupcakes~

I saw a recipe similar to this somewhere but I forget where I found it.

This is also probably the least “easy” of the recipes but that’s not saying much compared to the last two haha.

These yogurt and oat cupcakes are healthy, sweet, filling, and only take a little bit of preparation and time in the freezer.

Here’s what you need to do…

  1. Mix together some rolled oats, a bit of maple syrup, and a nut butter of your choosing (I used almond butter)
    1. As a side note, I eyeballed all of the ingredients, but I would say for ½ cup of oats I would add 1 tbsp of maple syrup. For the nut butter, just add a little at a time until you get a mixture that sticks together and holds its shape when you try to form it with your hands. Kinda like cookie dough.
  2. Spoon this mixture into cupcake liners (I used silicone ones) and pat down the mixture so it binds together.
  3. Spoon some yogurt on the top of the oat mixture in the cupcake liners (I used vegan blueberry yogurt)
  4. Top it off with some fresh berries/fruit and let sit in the freezer for a couple hours until they are completely frozen.
