Oh I miss Disneyland so much.
my aunt, my uncle, my mom and I are all big Disney fans and we used to go to Disneyland a lot together.
However, due to the park temporarily closing we have obviously not been able to do this.
The other day my friend sent me a tik tok of Splash Mountain and I got really nostalgic- hence this post.
I wanted to recreate the disney experience at home that anyone can do to give you something fun to do at home that will hopefully rekindle the good vibes of disney.
~Mickey Mouse Pancakes~
That’s right- starting off the day with delicious sugary carbs that are guaranteed to make you nostalgic (at least for me!)
I usually don’t even eat these for breakfast whenever I am at Disneyland, but whenever I do I always feel so happy eating this classic treat.
I was feeling lazy so I just made a pancake mix to make my pancakes, but making them from scratch would be a great idea if you want to spend extra time making them.
~Downtown Disney Online Shopping~
You don’t even need to buy anything- you can just browse for fun which is what I did!
I personally love spending time looking through the stores at Downtown Disney, and lucky for us, we can find some of them online!
I’ve created a list of my favorite stores that are in Downtown Disney and links to get there.
~Downtown Disney Stores~
- World of Disney – I personally like going to the Disney Home page to look at all of the home decor.
- Rinse Bath & Body – I love an excuse to shop around in a store that has anything to do with self care, and I’ve also used their products before and I really liked them- especially their lavender body butter.
- SEPHORA – This is a store that is everywhere and we’ve all gone to but for some reason every time I go to Downtown Disney I stop by it so I put it in here anyways.
~Disney Movie Night~
You knew I couldn’t leave this one out!
Sometimes the best way to cure your disney craving is just by watching some of your favorite disney films.
I created a more comfortable and aesthetic setting by covering my living room floor with pillows and blankets. I also lit some candles as well as made popcorn.
My favorite animated film is definitely Princess in the Frog and whenever I watch it I’m reminded of the good times in New Orleans in Disneyland, next to Pirates of the Carribean and Haunted Mansion.
