I hope you are having a lovely Sunday. I was actually planning on doing a different blog post today but when I sat down to start writing, I realized that I forgot all of my notes for it at home. So I guess I’ll be posting that one next Sunday.

One of the things that inspires me the most is the changing of seasons. I tend to be more of an autumn/winter person(which isn’t saying much because I live in southern california lol), but I still absolutely love spring and summer. Spring is a season that reminds me of running around in a field in a flowy dress and having a picnic in the grass haha. It’s definitely the season that feeds my cottagecore soul and gets me excited for the summer.

I’ve been enjoying Spring a lot more this year than I have in past years and I want to express that admiration for this season. Like for example, recently, I woke up early and went out in my front yard and did a Spring meditation. The birds were chirping and the bushes and flowers were so green and colorful. It was a little awkward at first because a few people walked by lol but it was still a nice experience.

So here are some more of those springtime moments in some photos and short captions. Also some of the film in this post and other blog posts I’ve done were taken by my friend, Cami, who’s a wonderful photographer. Here is her photography instagram account if you want to check out more of her work!

Things I Love About Spring

  1. The Colorful Mornings

Like this one when I went outside for a run.

  1. Outdoor Picnics

Like this one some of my friends organized for valentine’s day(which is still in winter I guess but it felt like spring).

  1. The Flowers

I found these in my friends yard.

  1. The Clear and Starry Night Skies

I’ve been having too much fun with my mom’s camera on her iPhone 11 ahaha.

  1. The Remaining Cloudy Days

I’m still waiting for it to rain.

  1. The Fashion

Featuring a beautiful mirror selfie, and my hanging plant, Parakeet, in the background.

  1. This Cake

A paleo cake that we had for my baby cousin’s first birthday, and my aunt wanted one that didn’t have sugar in it haha. Also, this plate that the cake was served on was so beautiful.
